I like Loki a lot more than I was expecting, especially since I’m just a very casual MCU follower. I’d award alligator Loki 500 points just for being alligator Loki
Yeah, that is part of the reason why this phase feels like a low point. It does not feel like it is leading to anything. More like they are treading water and waiting until the X-Men stuff can start to come out.
Yeah, they are but I feel like that is a hail marry play to end this phase. They just cast RDJ to come back and play Doom which feels really desperate and lazy. They are going to take an amazing character, that could be the main villain/hero of an entire Saga, and reduce him to a bit player at the end of a mediocre phase. Makes me sad
Yeah, that's true. It will be great to see RDJ again, but he should've stayed out of it. It'd be weird to see him play a different character within the same universe. It's like getting a continuation of Harry Potter, but this time Daniel Radcliffe will be playing Voldemort...
You can do cool stuff with the multiverse like having an old actor play a different character. The thing that bugs me is that they are doing that with a character that they never introduced before. So, this alternate version will be the first time some people experience this character. So the fun of having a different character play them is kind of lost and the intro to a new character is lost a well. It is unfortunate if it works and if it fails. Just a weird way to do it.

Yeah I thought about scoring the other variants but unfortunately they just don't do that much except exist. Alligator Loki is great though.
It's a shame the whole Jonathan Majors stuff derailed the MCU's plan just when they set it up with Kang and his variants

X-Men? I thought they were pivoting to Fantastic 4 and Doctor Doom 😅
