Welcome back to Feats N’ Faults, where we use our Tiered Point System to rank and record our favorite characters based on their achievements and deeds. For a more in depth look on how points are awarded, please check the About page. Below is our Tier System for quick reference.
Last week on Feats N’ Faults, we covered the Top 25 Leaderboard for the first year of the substack! Today, we are using that data to create something even more remarkable. What if we sent a team to another multiverse? Who would we pick to be on that team? Who would fill in the necessary roles to the best of their ability? How high could we get the FN’F Score for that team? That is precisely what we are about to find out. It is basically our very own fantasy football team but comprised of the best characters from all the IPs we’ve covered so far. Who will represent our multiverse in the contest of champions? Let’s create our very own Feats Force!
First, we will break down the Thirteen roles that comprise the team and decide what character fulfills that slot. Some characters could fit into different roles, but we will use the combination of characters to give us the highest FN’F Score. So, While you might be able to think of a character that would fit that role better, he might not have the appropriate score or be placed in a different role already because of how the scores were added up. Stats can be brutal, and that’s just the name of the game here at Feats N’ Faults.
Let’s Get Started!
Role: Leader
Our first role is one of the most essential parts of the team. This character does not necessarily need to be powerful—no high kill counts or fantastic powers are required. The most important quality is the ability to lead a group of individuals who won’t necessarily get along. They will need to keep the piece and be able to strategize the best course to take. This team will comprise some huge personalities, and I think we have the perfect character for our team.
Coming in at 253 FN’F Score, we draft Captain America from the MCU as the leader of Feats Force! Cap is the leader of the Avengers which means he already has the experience of wrangling big personalities while also gaining their respect. He is not a powerhouse, but he can definitely hold his own. The super soldier serum and Vibranium shield allow him to keep up witch just about anything that they might face. Welcome aboard Cap, Let’s find out who you’ll be leading.
Role: Bruiser
Now, we are looking for a little strength. If we are traversing the multiverse, we will need a heavy hitter—a great fighter with the ability to take down any obstacle. Not much else is needed. It's an easy role to be drafted into, but the one that stands above the rest is Thor from the MCU! Coming in at 150 FN’F Score, Thor is not to be underestimated. The God of Thunder is a great addition to our team. he has the strength, the power, and the looks to boot. The team is just the Avengers so far. I wonder if any other universes will join our team.
Role: Diplomat
If we are going to travel into the unknown, we will need a level head—someone who is adept at managing and brokering peace. A master at negotiation will be a tremendous asset to our team. We hit the jackpot this year. Our draft pick is fantastic at diplomacy, and he can really back up those words. This role was the last one that I added to the team. The second I saw how the scores lined up, I knew he would be perfect. This year, our Diplomat role goes to none other than Obi-Wan Kenobi.
He is knowledgeable about war, having fought in the Clone Wars. He often sat down with the enemy or tried to discuss some form of peace. He knows how to handle a situation when it inevitably falls to pieces. I couldn’t be happier with this pick.
Role: Tech Expert
We have the power and the leadership skills, and now we are looking for a character who can understand any kind of tech issue that might come their way, from reverse engineering to building upgrades for the rest of the team. When we look at the scores, it becomes evident who will get this role. Tony Stark, AKA Iron Man, is the man for the job. He showed his mastery of tech throughout the MCU and was vital in the defense of that universe. It is an honor to have him as a part of Feats Force.
Role: Magic Expert
On the other side of the coin, we have the magical world. Those capable of learning and mastering spells. While we have been exploring the world of the MCU, some of you might assume that Doctor Strange or Wong would fill this role. While they would, their scores were just not the highest when it came to magical users. Instead, we are trusting our mystical arts to the TVA Loki variant! His score was just too great. The other magicians could not overtake him. He is currently holding an entire Multiverse together. That kind of power would be a necessity for this team.
Role: Supernatural Expert
While this role does have some overlap with the magical world, I feel it is distinct enough to take its own space. Harry Potter is magical, but I would not put him in the same category as Buffy or Sam Winchester. This role looks at superstitions as facts. It deals with more traditional witches, vampires, werewolves, and ghosts. Maybe even a lower god here and there. We have barely scratched the surface of this world here at FN’F. Once we go through IPs like Supernatural or Buffy the Vampire Slayer, we will have a lot more characters to pick from. Until then, we will be back at the MCU. Moon Knight is going to have to pull his weight and fulfill this role until then. He is not a bad pick and scored a respectable score. He is nowhere near the talent or the level of other characters on this list. Who do you think will take his place for next year’s Feats Force?
Role: Nature Expert
Surprisingly, just like with the supernatural, we do not have many nature specialists. The closest thing I could find was a man who was an expert on ants. Yeah, it is a bit of a stretch. Hank Pym is going to be our Nature Expert for the time being. Hopefully, next year, we will have a character who is dedicated to all things nature and has a score to back it up. Do you have any suggestions on characters we should cover that know everything about the natural world?
Role: Sniper/Weapon Expert
Not all battles can be won with your fists or words. Sometimes, you must get dirty and pick your foes off from a distance. You need to understand how a weapon works by picking it up and using it to dispatch your foes without prejudice. You need ingenuity and a tenacity that will never end. Those qualities scream John Wick, which is why he is filling this role. No powers, no world-ending event, just pure brutality. John deserves his spot on this team. Like with the leaderboard, John earned his way here the hard way. Single fights and constantly being better than his foes. He knows how to use any weapon and is deadly from any range. If he had the support of this team, he would have been unstoppable.
Role: Infiltrator
We have our eyes in the sky, and now we need the man who will infiltrate—a master of stealth who can slip in and out undetected. I wanted to give this role to Bilbo, the resident of Lord of The Rings. Unfortunately, his score was just too low. He could never compete with the man who ended up in this position. Hunter from the Bad Batch will resign from his leadership role and join the team as our infiltrator. His skills to create a literal map of the surrounding environment in his head and quick reflexes make him an ideal candidate.
Role: Detective
What is a team without a detective? We need more brainpower on this team—someone who can walk into a room or hear an argument and immediately know what is happening. Little grey cells that never let a clue slip past them. I am giddy that our detective is none other than Hercule Poirot. It was a joy to sit down and watch this detective for our Halloween specials. I am glad this character is making a lasting impact on Feats N’ Fault. It sure did leave a lasting impression on me.
Role: Pilot
What good would this team be if it couldn’t get around? They must have an expert pilot on the team. His craft would be an essential asset to aid and support any maneuvers. While The Doctor could fill many of these roles, it is his role as the pilot that the points determined he would be suited best. It is a mind puzzle fitting these scores together to make the highest team value. The Doctor, I think, has found the role best suited for the team, even though it might not be as obvious to begin with. His TARDIS is a bonus character itself. Taking our team through all time and space while also providing a base of operations. It is the ideal choice.
Role: Doctor
Next, we need a man who can fix broken bones and deal with the medical side. We have covered multiple doctors, but the one who scored the highest and has not already been assigned to another role is Doctor Strange. He might have transitioned to magic, but he was a surgeon. He knows the inner body, and I bet he’s learned a couple of spells that can heal. He’s not the obvious choice, but he’s a damn good one.
Role: Wild Card
Every team needs a wild card. They are unpredictable but are usually the reasons the plan comes together. We need someone with a huge personality who seems to be able to accomplish things way beyond their means. No one exemplifies that more than Donna Noble. She also scored higher than most on this list. Just showing you that even though she has no special powers, she deserves on this team.
Feats Force 2024
Combined FN’F Score: 6112
5 Different IPs
I think the first Feats Force looks excellent. I can see a couple of roles that might be changed when next year comes along, but it’s still impressive. What are your thoughts on the team? Did you think anyone else deserved a spot, or who do you think will be replaced when next year rolls around? Let me know in the comments, and we will see you next week as we continue our yearly recap. I hope you have a fantastic day.
Until Next Time!
Nice to see Poirot made it, the mental image of Poirot twirling his mustache at Captain America is simply too funny haha
