Welcome back to Feats N’ Faults where we use our Tiered Point System to rank and record our favorite characters. If you want a rundown on how points are awarded, please check out the About page. Below is our Tier System for reference.
In today’s feed, we are going to be scoring Thanos the Mad Titan, and his loyal followers the Black Order. We have Thanos, Proxima Midnight, Ebony Maw, Corvus Glaive, and Cull Obsidian. I am sure you all know what to do, but if you’re new go ahead and rank these challengers from least to greatest, and let me know in the comments how many you got right! Let’s get into it!
In Last Place we have Proxima Midnight. I was not expecting her to be at the bottom of this list. While I cannot say that I was expecting any of Thanos’ children to score too high. I thought that Proxima would score higher than a 1 FN’F Score. It is crazy too because her only feat is taking out Vision, who is a very tough person to pin down. Having one impressive Feat is not enough to cut it in Feats N’ Faults. Better luck next time Proxima, oh wait she got crushed by Wanda. Never mind.
In 4th Place we have Ebony Maw. Again, I do not know what I was expecting but I think Maw is the most memorable out of the group. I would have put a lot of money on him being our front-runner. Yet here we are. He fought with a cape a bit and captured Thor but never did much besides that. He did give our heroes a way to get to Thanos and died to an Alien reference. So that’s pretty cool, I guess.
In 3rd Place we have a tie. Cull Obsidian tied with Ebony Maw. This guy was the muscle of the group and fought a couple of the Avengers. He doesn’t beat anyone except for War Machine, so I don’t think he pulled his weight. Strange did cut his arm off with a portal so that was pretty neat.
In 2nd Place we have Corvus Glaive with a … 7 FN’F Score. Not the most impressive second place we’ve seen but I think our first place is going to make up for it. This guy was a big ol’ sneak. Taking out heroes and infiltrating bases. He just barely outachieved the rest of his team, but let’s take a look at what their leader was able to do.
In 1st Place, to no one’s surprise, is Thanos. This big baddie is the most iconic villain in the MCU. Everything was leading up to him and boy did the MCU deliver on that ending. I was not sure if they were going to be able to land that plane, but the way they portrayed Thanos was a thing of beauty. Now for his FN’F Score. This guy was only really in two movies. Think about that. The impact he was able to make and the score he was able to achieve in two movies is astounding. Taking out half the universe to save the Universe was a huge Feat! Thanos got an amazing score, and you will definitely see him in our Top Tier lists for a long time.
Review: 9/10
I thought Infinity War was an amazing movie. It sucks you in and they do a great job of balancing all of their characters. End Game does as well, but I think End Game gets a little bogged down in the time travel aspect of it. It is a very satisfying ending and had one of the best theater experiences of my life, but it keeps these movies from hitting that 10/10 perfection. Great movies and a great MCU storyline ender. Super fun and charming and more than deserving of its 9/10 score.
How did you do? Did you get them all right? What score would you give these two movies? Let me know in the comments and please do not forget to subscribe and share with a friend.
